Bachu’s pickle started in the month of August 2020 with the idea of re introducing home made pickles to make the consumers relish the exotic taste of processed food that was fresh and sun dried and made with local made spices, packed with love specially for those who are away from home and are missing home, to remind them of a fragrance and taste that is close to home. In the midst of the pandemic I came up with the idea of starting Bachu’s pickle business, to let the peope know of the traditionally made authentic pickles. The online portal soon created a unique local market for my pickles.
Bachu’s pickle started with as little as 3kg of meat. Which eventually increased with the number of sales and now we make more than 10 pickles. The pandemic did effect our business and we had to face several problems and in order to cope with the new normal we shifted from the normal buy and sell system to commercial online business. Hence we defined out target audience, started with the branding exercise, sorted out the packaging & logistic, created online sites on social media and launched the store virtually in 2020/2019. Since then the business has been flourishing as I should say and have been receiving a lot of positive feedbacks from the customers and well wishers.
